With the decision by the Premier League not to split to two tiers and thus allow the old firm in, I fear for the SPL. I think more money will seep away from the league and as it does so, along with it goes any hopes for the league to improve.

I do sometimes wonder if all the Scottish teams will someday just be part of the English leagues and do away with their own leagues, much in the same way Welsh teams play in English leagues, financially this would probably be better for most of the Scottish teams.

And is if to validate my point, the SPL forum here is dead!
