Posted 04-05-2009 at 06:54 AM by Mario
They made two types of ticket products available for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™
  1. Match Tickets
    • These are individual match tickets and are available for all matches. You should purchase up to 4 tickets per match for at least 7 matches;
  1. Team Specific Ticket Series (TST)
    • These are ticket strips to follow the nation's team of your choosing. If your team is eliminated and your TST Series includes rounds after your team has been eliminated, your TST will remain valid to follow the team that progresses into the following round of the contest as indicated below.
You can print out this .pdf file and carry with you the match schedule.
The Match Tickets prices vary from Opening Match where a Cat.1 is $450 until The Final Match where Cat.1 is $900.
They made the tickets on 4 categories Cat.1, Cat.2,Cat.3 and Wheelchair.

You should pay attention on "Team Specific Tickets Prices" - TST .
Let's say you bought a ticket for your country and YOUR country is going to play in the Opening Match , you'll be needed to pay the extra amount indicated above, the Opening Match Premium.
You'll be reached to pay the Opening Match Premium previous to tickets being provided to you for collection.
If you're not going to pay the ticket order you made is going to be canceled!

You can buy a ticket online from
- FIFA.com - Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) ;
-mail or fax using this public ticket application form:
Another thing you have to know is that they made 5 sales phases and between the individual phases no applications can be submitted.
The First phase is already ended:
- 20 February 2009 to 31 March 2009

Second selling phase:
- 4 May 2009 to 16 November 2009

Third sales phase:
- 5 December 2009 to 22 January 2010

Fourth sales phase:
- 9 February 2010 to 7 April 2010

Final / Last Minute sales phase:
- 15 April 2010 to 11 July 2010

Be aware and read very good the
Stadium Code of Conduct
I am sure you don't want to watch the game from you hotel room so play fair!
